Research Tomes

What they are

Archaic Tomes are special items required by selected Academy branches. They are spent alongside resources and speedups and often become the limiting cost at high levels.

• Check the full cost of every prerequisite before starting.
• Do not enter an expensive branch without a clear target bonus.

Sources

• Event reward tracks, including Guild Fest and kingdom activities.
• Cargo Ship trades and temporary exchanges.
• Collaborations, minigames, and seasonal expeditions.
• Store packs when they fit both the plan and budget.

Planning

Track reserves in Tomes, not only in speedups. Add the total cost to the target level before an event and keep a buffer so the branch does not stop at an unfinished prerequisite.
